Ambassador of KSA: The Arab Islamic Summit focused on the humanitarian aspect of Gaza

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, confirmed that the outcomes of the exceptional Arab-Islamic summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia focused on the humanitarian aspect and the suffering experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip in light of the Israeli escalation.

This came during the press conference for the signing ceremony of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, a set of agreements with a number of organizations and bodies concerned with relief and humanitarian work to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, at the embassy headquarters in Cairo, in the presence of His Excellency the Counselor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the King Salman Centre. For Relief and Humanitarian Work, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah.

Ambassador Noqli explained that the Arab-Islamic Summit statement was primarily humanitarian, as it focused on calling for an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, opening the field of humanitarian relief, and then discussing the peace process based on international legitimacy resolutions.

He highlighted the importance of the decision issued by the Arab-Islamic Summit, which was to form a joint Arab-Islamic ministerial committee that would travel around the world’s capitals to convey the summit’s message, especially with regard to the humanitarian aspect and the difficult human suffering experienced by the brothers in Palestine, adding that the ministerial committee began its tours last Sunday by visiting the Chinese capital. Beijing then moved to Russia and other international capitals.
