The Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation has announced the signing of a new financial cooperation agreement between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Federal Republic of Germany, valued at **€118 million**. This agreement marks a continued commitment to strengthening economic and development ties between the two nations.

In addition, a **new tranche of the Debt Swap Program** has been signed, amounting to **€21 million**, which will be allocated to priority development projects in Egypt. The agreement reflects the depth of strategic partnership and mutual trust between Egypt and Germany.

This cooperation reaffirms the Egyptian government’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and leveraging innovative financing tools to support the country’s sustainable development goals.
