As the Hajj season of 1446 AH unfolds, the national digital application Tawakkalna continues to play a pivotal role as one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s key smart solutions, enhancing the experience of pilgrims by simplifying their journey and ensuring their safety from the moment they enter Makkah until their departure.
Tawakkalna offers pilgrims a seamless way to access their Hajj permits through an easy-to-use interface, fully integrated with the unified digital Hajj permit platform Tasreeh. The app allows users to view all types of permits issued by various government entities—such as the Hajj permit card, Makkah entry permits, worker and volunteer permits, and vehicle permits. It also enables access to the Nusuk card through direct integration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Nusuk platform.
As a reliable and efficient digital tool, Tawakkalna supports the daily mobility of pilgrims, providing a smoother, safer experience. Its fast responsiveness and service integration make it an indispensable companion throughout the Hajj rituals.
The app also offers a suite of services tailored to meet pilgrims’ daily needs, including:
- “Es‘afni” (Rescue Me) and Emergency SOS, enabling users to request help in urgent situations with simplified steps.
- Weather forecasts for the holy sites, updated in real-time and covering the next five days.
- Religious utilities such as Qibla direction, prayer times, and digital access to the Holy Qur’an.
Pilgrims can download Tawakkalna from official app stores (App Store, Google Play, AppGallery, Galaxy Store) as part of a comprehensive digital package designed to ensure a smooth and secure pilgrimage.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes enhancing the pilgrimage experience through cutting-edge technology and smart solutions, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
