Ambassador Aamer Shaukat met today with H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), at the League’s headquarters in Cairo, where he formally presented his credentials as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and the League of Arab States, as well as developments related to the Palestinian cause and other regional and international issues of mutual concern.
