Gulnara Agamova, Deputy Minister of the Moscow Government, Director General of the Moscow Creative Industries Agency, affirmed that digital games are now among the fastest-growing industries, and that initial steps have been taken to launch collaborative projects in this field with Egypt. A delegation from the Moscow Creative Industries Agency visited Egypt in recent months to explore cooperation opportunities with Egyptian stakeholders interested in the digital gaming sector.
Speaking at a press conference with the international media delegation covering the **2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum**, organized by the *Roscongress Foundation*, Agamova emphasized that creative industries are powerful catalysts for economic growth and future-oriented development. They offer employment opportunities by transforming individual passions into viable business ventures. She highlighted that, in Moscow, the video game industry is witnessing remarkable growth, fueled by international partnerships, and is steadily positioning the city as a vibrant hub for professional creative industries.
Agamova added:
“In recent years, SPIEF has played a pivotal role in advancing this sector by offering specialized platforms dedicated to creative industries. Moreover, the city of Moscow actively supports game developers through international exhibitions and diverse collaboration platforms. These efforts include funding early-stage startups and delivering comprehensive technical and vocational training.”
