“visitQATAR” indicated that the events were an immersive experience that combined adventure, relaxation and cultural experiences in the UNESCO-listed Al Reem Reserve in northwestern Qatar.
Ras Brouq events witnessed 29 entertainment shows, including optical illusion shows and traditional storytelling. In addition, 17 interactive workshops and 9 various activities were organized, where visitors were able to enjoy camel and horse riding, shooting sports, stargazing and hot air ballooning.
According to qna, Ahmed Hamad Al Binali, Director of Festivals and Events at Visit Qatar, said: “We are delighted with the interaction and great success achieved by the unique Ras Brouq Desert Experience.”
He pointed out that promoting historical, entertainment and archaeological sites in Qatar through various events not only contributes to enhancing cultural offerings, but also supports the economy by attracting international visitors.
He added: “Ras Brouq has proven to be an exceptional destination that brings families together in an ideal environment that combines adventure, culture and relaxation. This event represents the beginning of a series of distinctive events that will be held in the future.”
Visitors flocked to the events in the “Film City” area, where activities were held for families, while the “Wildlife Park” offered distinctive safari experiences through camel and horse trails.
The “Desert Haven” area also hosted various activities such as “trampolines”, acrobatic shows, and falconry shows.
As for the camping area, it provided families with the opportunity to relax in luxurious tents amidst a tranquil atmosphere.
The events included specialized cultural sites such as the Al Hosh Majlis, in addition to daily camel parade shows, giving families the opportunity to explore Qatari heritage and enjoy the beauty of the desert landscape.
