Today, Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst paid her first official visit to Beni Suef Governorate, where she met with Governor Dr. Mohamed Hany Ghoneim. Their discussions centered on strengthening economic partnership and advancing sustainable development to create jobs and empower young people.
The meeting also sought to align local development efforts with the broader strategic objectives of the partnership between the European Union and Egypt, underscoring the shared commitment to inclusive growth and long-term prosperity.
Ambassador Eichhorst also made an inspiring visit to the central school feeding kitchen in Beni Suef. The facility provides fresh, nutritious meals every day to 1,600 students across 47 community schools in Beni Suleiman. This impactful initiative is made possible through the joint efforts of the World Food Programme, Al Karma Foundation for Development, and Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
Her visit reflected a broader vision: that sustainable partnerships begin at the local level—where opportunity is cultivated, and futures are nourished.
