In a televised address to the Iranian people on Sunday evening, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, vowed severe consequences for the Zionist regime following its recent attacks, declaring that Israel had committed a “grave error and malicious crime” that will not go unpunished.

“The Zionist entity has made a grave mistake and committed a foolish act that will bring about bitter consequences,” Khamenei stated, assuring the Iranian public that the armed forces, fully backed by the people, will strike decisively and that “this evil regime will not escape unscathed.”

The Leader offered his condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of senior commanders, scholars, and civilians, calling the loss painful but spiritually uplifting. “May God elevate their ranks and encompass their pure souls with His mercy,” he added.

Affirming Iran’s unwavering stance, Khamenei said, “The Iranian people will not remain silent in the face of this crime, nor will we turn a blind eye to the violation of our airspace. Our armed forces are on full alert, supported by the nation’s officials and every citizen.”

He emphasized the national consensus across political factions regarding the necessity of a firm response, noting, “Everyone recognizes the evil, vile, and terrorist nature of the Zionist regime. This crime will not be tolerated.”

“The Zionists must not imagine that they have struck and it’s over,” he warned. “They are the ones who started this war, and they will face its repercussions. Life will become bitter for them. We will not allow them to walk away from this great crime.”

Khamenei concluded by reassuring the Iranian people: “The Islamic Republic, with the support of its people and its resolute armed forces, will prevail over this malignant enemy, God willing. Let our beloved nation rest assured—there will be no negligence in defending our martyrs and our sovereignty.”
