A central highlight of the session was a comprehensive presentation by Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Capital University, alongside the team from the Capital University Consulting Center. The Center unveiled an innovative architectural and engineering plan designed to revolutionize the fair’s spatial dynamics. Key features of the plan include:

  • Expanding main hall corridors to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize foot traffic flow for millions of visitors.
Speaking on the strategic vision for the 58th edition, Prof. Abdel Aziz Qanswa highlighted a major transition toward comprehensive organizational and digital modernization to solidify the fair’s status as the region’s premier cultural landmark.
Key Digital & Infrastructure Initiatives Discussed:
  • Unified Mobile Platform: Launching December 1, the app will feature smart search tools for titles and publishers, interactive facility mapping, and seamless e-ticketing.
  • AI Integration: Evaluation of AI-powered smart digital assistants and offline functionality to enhance access to cultural content.
  • Network & Tech Infrastructure: Ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to upgrade network reliability across the exhibition venue.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Analyzing performance metrics and visitor statistics from the 57th edition to inform current executive committee assignments and workflow coordination.
  • Identity & Programming: Establishing selection criteria for the 58th edition’s Guest of Honor, official logo, and overarching intellectual themes to align artistic, professional, and youth programming.
