H.E. Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of Türkiye to Egypt, has extended his sincerest congratulations to H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as to the brave Egyptian Armed Forces—its leadership, commanders, officers, and soldiers—on the occasion of Egypt’s Victory Day on 6 October.
Ambassador Şen emphasized that the October victory stands as a powerful embodiment of the struggle of Egypt’s national, faithful, courageous, and devoted army in defense of Egypt’s dignity and Arab lands, foremost among them the sacred soil of Egypt and Sinai, in confronting the Israeli occupation and the forces that supported it.
On this historic occasion, Ambassador Şen prayed for mercy upon the valiant martyrs of Egypt, who sacrificed their lives for the soil of their brotherly homeland. He also paid tribute to the late President Anwar El-Sadat, remembering with reverence the leader who took the historic decision to cross the Suez Canal on 6 October 1973 and successfully carried it into action.
October remains a date when courage crossed the waters of the Suez, dignity reclaimed its voice, and the sacrifices of Egypt’s martyrs became a lasting chapter in the nation’s memory.
