Cairo – Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University and Chairman of the Board of Helwan University Club, announced that work is moving ahead to complete a new padel court alongside the construction of a social walkway inside the club. The projects are designed to provide members with an integrated sports and leisure experience in a safe and modern environment.
Dr. Kandil explained that the initiative is part of a wider development plan to strengthen the club’s infrastructure and create interactive spaces that reflect the stature of the university community. The aim, he noted, is to ensure sustainable support for students’ activities and athletic programs.
Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Executive Director of the Club, stressed that Helwan University Club is not simply a sports facility, but a platform for nurturing talent and shaping students’ personalities.
“We are working according to a clear scientific vision and ongoing development plans,” he said, pointing to the new padel court and walkway as key additions. “Our goal is to provide a rich sports and cultural experience, while preparing young people for future achievements.”
